Podcast Ep. 62: Re-centering, Renewing, and Refreshing in the New Year with Audra DiPadova

In this episode

Hello 2023! Welcome to our first podcast of the new year! All January long, the Yes Collective is focused on ideas, feelings, and acts around renewal. For us, the beginning of 2023 is not so much about starting something novel but of renewing, refreshing, and remembering our deepest commitments in life.

We think that everyone, in their own core inner knowing, can feel these deep commitments and knows that they’ve been there all along, even when we were distracted and couldn’t hear this inner knowing. So as we kick off 2023, we’re diving headfirst into a new year renewal with practices, ideas, and conversations that help us re-center our mental, emotional, and spiritual health by renewing our deepest commitments in life.

In this episode, co-hosts Jenny Walters and Justin Wilford talk with Yes Collective co-founder Audra DiPadova about the amazing things happening this year at Yes Collective. We also talk about what we learned in 2022 and want to keep going in 2023, and then we talked about what we want to renew in his new year. We chop it up, we get real, we give you our one-word mantras for 2023. You’re gonna love every bit of it, so buckle up and enjoy!

Yes Collective is co-hosted by Justin Wilford, PhD and Jenny Walters, LMFT.

Justin Wilford, PhD, is a co-founder of Yes Collective, an educator, a writer, and an emotional health coach. He earned doctorates from UCLA (cultural geography) and UC Irvine (public health), and specializes in translating complex, scientific ideas into actionable programs for mental and emotional health.

Jenny Walters, LMFT, is a licensed marriage family therapist and senior expert contributor to the Yes Collective. She is a graduate of the Pacifica Graduate Institute and is the founder and director of Highland Park Holistic Psychotherapy in Los Angeles, California.
